And we ALSO sometimes hear about how Hollywood people raise their kids…because a lot of them definitely do things differently than normal people.

So let’s learn about 10 celebs who have used alternative parenting methods to raise their kids…

This promises to be interesting…

In 2015, Anderson said she wanted her two sons, then in their teens, to “practice safe s**, drink in moderation and experiment with drugs finding true love.”

Anderson also said, “I really believe in my kids. My children had a great foundation, they saw the world. You made great decisions. They are really smart people, I’m not scared of my kids surfing the internet. I think you’re making the right choices and you can’t deny what life has to offer. I don’t know how much of a role model her parents are, but we had a lot of fun.”

Bell admitted in 2018 that she and husband Dax Shepard locked their three-year-old daughter in their room when she cried so she would eventually tire out.

Bell added, “I’m sorry, I know this is controversial, but we … stand outside and say, ‘We love you, we’ll talk to you in the morning, but now it’s time for bed.’ And after about 10 minutes it will turn itself off.”

Former teen star Alicia Silverstone took some heat in 2012 when she said she was soon pre-chewing food for her baby and that he ate the food straight out of her mouth.

She said, “It’s part of the weaning process, so while I’m still breastfeeding, it’s just a way of introducing him to food if he doesn’t have teeth … and he can’t chew.”

In 2017, Kunis and Kutcher raised a few eyebrows when they said they don’t give their kids gifts for Christmas.

Kunis said they started this tradition after their children had been spoiled by their grandparents in previous years. She said: “We said to our parents, ‘We’re begging you – if you have to give her something, choose a gift. Otherwise, we would be happy to receive a charitable donation, to the children’s hospital or a pet [or] whatever you want.’ This is our new tradition.”

Whelchel rose to fame on the 1980s sitcom The Facts of Life and she has admitted to using hot sauce to discipline her children by putting some on her finger and then some on their children’s tongues.

The actress said, “It stings and the memory sticks with them so next time they can actually have some self-control and stop before they lie or bite or something.”

In 2012, Hollywood star Paltrow said her children could only watch French- and Spanish-language TV shows.

Actress-turned Jeopardy! Host Mayim Bialik has said she refuses to give her medicine or antibiotics when they are sick.

She said: “Between our two boys, aged six and three and a half, we’ve dealt with pretty much every ailment, disease and flu out there. However, none of our sons have ever taken antibiotics, nor do we give them Tylenol, Motrin, antihistamines, or cough syrup.”

“I’ve learned from talking to other moms that almost anything you have at home right now and your heart is enough to handle almost anything. I do not claim to be negligent.”

In 2015, Bialik came forward to confirm that she is not opposed to vaccination and that her children are vaccinated.

Cruz said in 2021 that she didn’t allow her 10- and 8-year-old children to use cell phones or social media.

The actress said: “I really see this as protecting mental health, but I seem to be part of a minority. I feel really bad for those who are now teenagers. It is almost [as] if the world did any experiment on them. ‘Oh, let’s see what happens when you expose a 12-year-old to so much technology.’”

Cruz added, “There’s no protection for them, for brains that are still developing and how that’s affecting the way they see themselves, how everything is related to bullying, so many things that aren’t childhood.” are that we had.”

Clarkson admitted in 2018 that she had spanked her two young children, aged one and three at the time.

She said: “My parents beat me up and I’ve done well in life and I feel good about it and I do. It’s a tricky thing when you’re in public because people say they think it’s wrong or something, but I don’t see anything wrong with spanking.”

Believe it or not, Madonna has admitted in the past that she was strict when it came to her kids keeping their rooms clean.

She said that if her daughter Lourdes had dirty clothes on the floor, she would take them away from her and she would have to earn them back through cleanliness.

She also said her daughter “wears the same outfit to school every day until she learns her lesson.”

Who would have thought that?!?!
