Here are 10 rising celebrities whose growing star power beauty brands could take advantage of.
1. Rachel Zegler

21-year-old Rachel Zegler, who first went viral on Twitter in 2018 with her gorgeous rendition of Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper’s “Shallow,” has since made a name for herself with her powerful, understated singing.
The New Jersey crooner made her film debut as Maria Vasquez in Steven Spielberg’s 2021 adaptation of West Side Story and has recently been cast in the upcoming prequel Hunger Games and as Snow White in a remake of the Grimm tale, both of which are scheduled to hit theaters in 2023.
The breadth of her musicianship coupled with her burgeoning acting skills and burgeoning Gen Z fandom make Zegler a fitting potential newcomer to the beauty business.
2. Jack Harlow

Known for his tongue-in-cheek humor and boundless charm, Kentucky rapper Jack Harlow’s pleasant personality has arguably contributed as much to his meteoric rise as his lyrical finesse.
To date, the rapper has garnered three Grammy nominations, an appearance as a musical guest on Saturday Night Live, and recent partnerships with Tommy Hilfiger and fast-food giant KFC.
From time to time, a novel clip of the musician exerting his effortless appeal goes viral and seems to be enticing the internet once again. To top it off, the star has no shortage of celebrity friends, who are often spotted with rappers Drake and Lil Nas X, as well as popular internet comedian Druski.
In short: Jack Harlow has it all. If the above arguments aren’t strong enough for his burgeoning candidacy, brands need look no further than the rapper’s signature ringlet of curls that’s as good as begging for someone — everyone — to tap him for a hair campaign.
3. Bad Bunny

Given his genre-blurring music, it’s not surprising that Bad Bunny doesn’t fit the gender norms of fashion.
While some interpret the musician’s gender-biased style as a sign of defiance against those in power, others see it simply as one of many ways in which the Puerto Rican artist displays his trademark smug swagger.
A disruptor by nature, the Grammy winner can often be spotted on the red carpet with manicured nails, dresses and brightly colored hair. He even sported a full face of makeup — complete with a bold red lip and false eyelashes — in his 2020 music video “Yo Perreo Sola”.
The artist has more than 41 million Instagram followers and was the face of Jacquemus’ spring campaign Le Splash earlier this year. It probably won’t be long before the beauty industry embraces the versatile powerhouse, too.
4. Simone Ashley

Bridgerton breakout Simone Ashley captivated audiences around the world with her portrayal of the wayward Kate Sharma in the recent second iteration of the historical drama.
Since then, she has ruled the red carpets (long live the cutout dress discourse), became a mainstay on magazine covers, and has been widely acclaimed for bringing South Asian representation to the fore.
While Netflix has teamed up with Pat McGrath Labs for a Bridgerton x Pat McGrath Labs collaboration that included an eye palette, a trio of blushes, and two highlighters, Ashley hasn’t struck up a beauty partnership of her own just yet. Considering the many milestones she’s passed at what appears to be a record-breaking pace, we have no doubt the 27-year-old actress is on the verge of one.
5. Julia Garner

“World takeover” is hardly an exaggeration to describe 28-year-old actress Julia Garner’s journey. Fresh from the success of Netflix’s Inventing Anna, in which she portrayed the infamous Russian-turned-German-turned-Russian crook Anna Delvey, Garner has now been handpicked by none other than Madonna herself to be the pop star to portray her forthcoming biopic in her.
Prior to Inventing Anna, the New York native was best known for her role as Ruth Langmore on The Ozark and has forged partnerships with Miu Miu, Prada, Kate Spade and Swarovski.
It only seems fitting that Garner’s next accolade (besides an Oscar) is a beauty campaign.
6. Austin Butler

As arguably Hollywood’s most promising leading man, it came as no surprise when fine jeweler Cartier recently announced it had tapped Austin Butler as its latest celebrity ambassador.
The 30-year-old actor has received critical acclaim for his portrayal of Elvis (who beats Harry Styles for the role) in Baz Luhrmann’s latest film.
While his performance in Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time…In Hollywood raised his profile as an actor, Elvis was his breakthrough. And he has exciting projects ahead: Next up, Butler is set to star in Denis Villeneuve’s highly anticipated Dune: Part Two, starring the likes of Timothée Chalamet, Florence Pugh and Zendaya, and Masters of the Air, the American War , play along drama miniseries for Apple TV+.
A fragrance campaign by Chanel (à la Brad Pitt) or Tom Ford could easily be targeted.
7.Dominic Fike

While his antics in “Euphoria” as the brooding boy Elliot — meddler, enabler, seeming on-screen manifestation of his least loved ex — haven’t exactly won the hearts of the series’ cult following, Dominic Fike, the singer, songwriter, and frequent fashion week attendee, deserves nothing but love from the show’s enthusiasts.
In addition to making his acting debut on the HBO hit show, which has been regularly lauded for its standout beauty looks since it premiered in 2019, Fike previously made waves with a 2021 collaboration with Paul McCartney, in which he performed the iconic singer’s track “The Kiss.” of Venus.” He also teamed up with Calvin Klein to star in a #mycalvins ad last February.
Given the prevailing “Euphoria” breakout-to-beauty campaign pipeline (Barbie Ferreira has teamed up with Becca Cosmetics, Sydney Sweeney with Laneige, etc.), it seems only right that Fike will soon be following in his co-stars’ footsteps and will snatch one of his own.
8.Emma Corrin

Emma Corrin, who rose to fame as Princess Diana in The Crown, has turned heads on every red carpet.
A rising talent who takes risks and makes original, bold style decisions, 26-year-old Corrin was one to keep an eye on, and Miu Miu took notice and chose her (Corrin uses her/them pronoun) as the face his latest campaigns.
Their future looks bright: in the fall they will star in Michael Grandage’s “My Policeman” with Harry Styles. And later they star in Retreat, a limited series by The OA creators Brit Marling and Zal Batmanglij for FX.
9. Iman Vellani

She doesn’t have the star power yet but Iman Vellani shows promise.
She made her acting debut as Kamala Khan in the Disney+ series Ms. Marvel,” the 19-year-old actress is the new kid on the block. However, she quickly stood out from the crowd, garnering rave reviews from critics and holding her own while appearing on the network’s major talk shows.
By snagging the part (Khan is Marvel’s first Muslim character to title her own comic book), Vellani proves she can carry a movie (while bringing a new breed of superhero to life), and next year she’ll land the part in The Marvels, Nia DaCosta’s sequel to Captain Marvel, starring the likes of Brie Larson and Samuel L. Jackson.
10. Edgar Jones Daisy

Though 24-year-old Daisy Edgar-Jones has teamed up with Hourglass Cosmetics for an online beauty tutorial, she has yet to be named a beauty ambassador or grace a beauty campaign.
It’s surprising considering their popularity. She currently has 1.3 million Instagram followers and gained fans after garnering worldwide attention for her starring role as Marianne (opposite Paul Mescal) in the film adaptation of Sally Rooney’s novel of the same name, Normal People.
This year she starred in Under the Banner of Heaven, the critically acclaimed FX on Hulu series starring Andrew Garfield. Then came her starring role as Kya Clark in the highly anticipated film Where the Crawdads Sing (also based on a book), which is in theaters now.
She has been in fashion campaigns, ads for Jimmy Choo and Simone Rocha x H&M. Maybe a beauty deal is next.
