NOVI, MI — Plenty of celebrities will be hanging out in Michigan this weekend as they join people from across the country for the state’s biggest Comic-Con of the year.
Motor City Comic Con will take place from Friday May 13th to Sunday May 15th at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi. Tickets can be bought here.
From a Scream movie reunion to stars from all four original Superman movies to Captain Kirk and Jessica Jones, here are some of the celebs that fans can meet at the event, which also hosts cosplay contests, artists and vendors as well as panel discussions and more.
20. Alicia Silverstone
As if this “Clueless” star would be at the event. Well, she will actually be there on Saturday and Sunday. You also know Silverstone from numerous music videos by Aerosmith, “Batman & Robin” and “Blast from the Past”.
19. Carey Jones
This actor had a major role in The Book of Boba Fett on Disney+. Jones, an actor and makeup artist, plays Black Krrsantan on the show. He has also done special effects and makeup for The Walking Dead and Watchmen. He will be at Motor City Comic Con on Friday and Saturday.
18. Danny Trejo
Most recently you saw him play a small role in The Book of Boba Fett. This veteran actor is known for his starring roles in Desperado, Heat, From Dusk Till Dawn, Con Air, and Machete. He will be at Motor City Comic Con on Saturday and Sunday.
17. Kramer Riggs
Carl Grimes will be at Motor City Comic Con every three days. Chandler Riggs is best known for playing this character on The Walking Dead from 2010 to 2018.
16. Caity Lotz
You know this actress as Black Canary on the CW’s Arrow. Lotz will be at Comic Con every three days. There are duo photo ops with Arrow star Katie Cassidy.
15. Katie Cassidy
Cassidy starred on Arrow. You can also catch her star in the spy thriller Agent Game starring Mel Gibson. She has also starred in A Nightmare on Elm Street, Taken, Black Christmas, and more.
14. Freddie Prinze Jr.
“She’s All That”, “I Know What You Did Last Summer”, “Summer Catch”, “Scooby-Doo”, “24”, “Star Wars Rebels…” do we have to move on? Freddie Prinze Jr. will be at Motor City Comic Con on Saturday and Sunday.
13. Ruby Soho
Professional wrestling fans will enjoy this year’s Motor City Comic Con. AEW star Ruby Soho will be at the event for all three days. WWE fans will also remember her as Ruby Riott.
12. Adam Cole
Additionally, AEW star Adam Cole will perform at the event for all three days. Wrestling fans will also remember him from his Ring of Honor days. AWE’s Ethan Page and MJF will also be present at the event.
11. Taryn Manning
Fans of this actress know her as Pennsatucky from Orange is the New Black. You may also know her from Cleveland Abduction, Low Down, The Experimenter, Hustle & Flow, and 8-Mile. She will be at Motor City Comic Con every three days.

Fans of the “Scream” horror movies will love this reunion. All three of these actors will be at the event for all three days. You know Lillard, who hails from Lansing, Michigan, as Shaggy in Scooby-Doo. You also know Ulrich from “The Craft” and “Riverdale” and you also know Jamie Kennedy from his hidden camera show “The Jamie Kennedy Experiment”.
7.Christopher Eccleston
The Doctor is only present at this year’s event on Saturday. You know Eccleston as the ninth doctor in the British TV series Doctor Who. You also know him as Matt Jamison from The Leftovers.
6. “Superman” reunion
Fans of the original four Superman movies starring Christopher Reeve will love this reunion. The event will feature Aaron Smolinski (Infant Clark Kent), Marc McClure (Jimmy Olsen), Sarah Douglas (Supervillain Ursa), Jack O’Halloran (Supervillain Non), Mark Pillow (Nuclear Man in The Quest for Peace). , Mariel Hemingway (Lacy Warfield in “The Quest for Peace”) and Damian McLawhorn (Jeremy in “The Quest for Peace”).
5. Malcolm Goodwin
This actor will be at Comic Con every three days. You know him from his appearances in Detroit 1-8-7, American Gangster, The Longshots and most recently in Amazon Prime’s Reacher.
4. Aaron Sagers
The journalist and author will be there every three days. You know him from Travel Channel’s “Paranormal Paparazzi” and “Paranormal Caught On Camera.”
3. Brenton Thwaites
Only appearing at Motor City Comic Con on Saturdays, you know Thwaites from Blue Lagoon: The Awakening, Oculus, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, and Titans.
2. Freddie Stroma
Stroma is appearing at Comic Con on Saturday and Sunday and is currently starring in the HBO Max series Peacemaker with Jon Cena. You also know him from The Crew with Kevin James on Netflix.
