Kate Spade debuted bright colors and a relaxed Studio 54 vibe at New York Fashion Week Spring 2024. With the launch of the Dakota bag, Kate Spade exuded optimism through its silhouette, color scheme and celebratory energy in one of the fashion capitals, New York.
The Kate Spade brand is best known for its avant-garde designs in clothing and accessories. Tom Mora is responsible for clothing, while Jennifer Lyu leads the accessories design team.
In this spring collection, the Kate Spade team has balanced modern femininity aesthetics with their silhouette. With the freshness of yellow and green, designers have added black and white gingham prints, soft pastels and thick stripes to the collection.
The collection includes mini dresses, high-waisted pants, Peter Pan collar one-pieces, pink chokers and the newly launched Dakota bag. Tom Mora has reworked the Christmas prints with tiny KS lettering, showcasing the brand’s conventional approach.
Kate Spade’s debut collection witnessed numerous celebrities including Yaya Zahir and Shalma Ainaa. Model Aoki Lee shared some BTS from the show. Meanwhile, Taryn enjoyed the show by asking other celebrities what was in their bags.

1) Justine Skye

The first name that comes to mind among the dressed-up celebrities is the musical star Justine Skye. What a Lie singer wore a matching miniskirt and crop top.
Justine showed off her flat, dark abs and paired sheer knee-length white socks with white pumps. Leaving her curled hair open, she picked up the Dakota bag and accessorized it with a long pearl earring that matched her azure wardrobe.

The famous American model chose the bold color for the basic silhouette. She wore loose denim jeans and a white crop top with monochrome geometric figures.
Haley slung the bright red blazer over her shoulder as she posed with her black handbag. She added some of the chunky rings and the gold hoop earrings to the accessories.
3) Meghna Kaur
Meghna Kaur, an Indian influencer, wore a mid-length multicolored dress with a pleated hem. To create an extra girly aesthetic, she added a black bustier to the geometric patterned printed dress. She added femininity with a red double-strap Mary Jane shoe and a headband, as well as her black Dakota bag.

New York beauty pageant and social media influencer Taryn Delaine filmed a quick tour of the Kate Spade show in her permed curly hair and red cotton silhouette dress.
Taryn’s dramatic eye makeup appealed to other guests, while her puff-sleeved dress gave her a feminine look. She wore geometric earrings and pointed heels to complement the look.

Famous as the first black transgender model for Victoria’s Secret, this beauty wore a yellow miniskirt with a matching blazer. She wore a white tank top underneath the blazer and posed with the white Dakota bag.
Emira wore a black dress and knee-high Kate boots as she gracefully enjoyed the KS show. For the accessories department, she added some elegant gold bangles that perfectly maintained Tom Mora’s tomboyish vibe.
Several other celebrities, including Callie Wilson, Christina Ricci and many more, wore high-fashion dresses, while Victoria Herran emphasized the Barbiecore theme. Furthermore, the show went quite well with huge fashion crowds, celebrities and the artistic performance of Kate Spade.
