The Pittsburgh Steelers are one of the NFL’s most storied franchises, and several celebrities aren’t afraid to show their love for the team.
Steelers Nation has one of the most devoted fan bases in all sports as the team can usually boast a solid showing of their fan base even at street games. Most good teams can fill their home stadium, but when a team takes their fans out onto the streets to show their presence, it shows how devoted they are.
This devoted fanbase includes people from across the country and some who don’t even live in the United States. Not only does it contain so many people, but some of those people are well-known celebrities who often come to the games.
The following celebrities are some of the many people who bleed black and gold, and while these are the five listed, there are many other celebrities who are Steelers fans as well.
Bret Michaels, musician
Bret Michaels may be a famous musician, but Steelers fans know him as one of them. Michaels is best known as the frontman for the rock band Poison, but has also recorded solo albums and appeared on Celebrity Apprentice.
Michaels was born in Butler, Pennsylvania just north of Pittsburgh, so it’s no surprise he’s a Steelers fan. In fact, not only is he a fan, but according to NFL draft prospect Matt Corral, Michaels is pushing for the Steelers to pick him as their next franchise quarterback via The Rich Eisen Show.
While Michaels may not be influential, the rock singer, who is backing Matt Corral as the team’s next quarterback, is showing he is invested in the team.
Next time you’re in Heinz Field, take a look around and you might see Bret Michaels waving his awful towel just like you, while wearing his Steelers cowboy hat or a Steelers bandana.
