9 Celebrities Who Have Admitted To Plastic Surgery

The pressure to look young can be relentless – no one knows that better than Hollywood's elite. It's no surprise that cosmetic procedures like Botox, fillers, facelifts and breast augmentations are common among celebrities. And while many prefer to keep their enhancements secret, there are a growing number of celebrities who are willing to reveal everything when it comes to going under the knife.

From minor fixes to major surgeries, read on for all the celebrities who have received cosmetic enhancements.

Actress Megan Fox didn't hold back when asked about the numerous cosmetic and plastic surgeries she's undergone during an episode of “Call Her Daddy.”

“I feel like there’s a stigma and I’m not going to win. I hope it frees some people,” Fox, 37, told podcast host Alex Cooper about her decision to be open.

“I had my boobs done when I was 21 or 22. I had them done again after I was done breastfeeding my children. I recently had to have them replaced because [with] In the first set, I didn't have enough body fat to hide it [them]you could see the waves of the implant, so I had to swap them out for this set.”

And if you're wondering what Fox demanded when she went under the knife: “The biggest breasts that can fit in my body” was her only instruction.

“They’re not even that big. It's a 32D, which isn't that big. They just look big on my body because my body is tiny,” she argued.

In addition to Botox and fillers, she also admitted to having a nose job in her early 20s.

“I was literally accused of having six, seven or eight nose jobs – which is impossible because your nose would die and fall off. I haven’t had a rhinoplasty since I was 23,” she said.

Fox wanted to clarify what she didn't do: “I've never had a facelift of any kind. Not a mid-facelift, not a side brow lift – although I would like one – or not a regular brow lift. I've never created threads before. I've researched them and it has nothing to do with morality, I just don't really think they work. I’m also worried that they would interfere if I needed a facelift.”

She continued: “I have never had cheek fat removed. I will never have fat removed, I am a slim person who does not have enough body fat or fat on my face. I will only ever put fat in, I will never take fat out. The result for me is that I have never had liposuction, body contouring or anything like that.”

“I've never had butt implants… I would be so flattered if anyone thought I had that. If I could I would!” I don't have any extra body fat. And it's so hard to recover from this surgery. It’s so crazy, you basically have to lie flat on your face for three months and you’re bruised for ages.”

Kylie Jenner

Kylie Jenner put an end to years of plastic surgery speculation in 2023 when she admitted to having breast enlargement surgery as a teenager.

On an episode of “The Kardashians,” the youngest KarJenner revealed, “I’ve had my boobs done before [falling pregnant with] Stormi…didn’t think I would have a child at 20.”

She continued, “They were still healing. I had beautiful breasts. Natural t–s. Just great. Perfect size, everything perfect. And of course I just wish I had never had them done in the first place.”

“I would recommend that anyone thinking about it wait until after birth.”

Ariana Grande

Ariana Grande admitted to getting “a lot of lip fillers” in recent years and became emotional as she explained how the procedure had affected her self-confidence.

Grande opened up on Vogue's YouTube channel, saying: “Total transparency, as someone who is deeply into beauty… I have had numerous lip filler injections and Botox.” I quit in 2018 because I felt like it is too much. I just felt like hiding.”

As she continued, Grande looked to the roof of her hotel room to hold back tears as she admitted she “didn't expect to get emotional.”

“For a long time, beauty for me meant concealing, but now I feel different – especially since I stopped using fillers and Botox.”

Although Grande admitted that she isn't completely ruling out fillers or Botox, she said she's happy to be in a place where she can get her “well-deserved wine lines and laugh lines” under control.

“Age can be a beautiful thing. Maybe in 10 years I'll decide on a facelift? Maybe, but these are just thoughts that we should be happy to discuss. When we talk about beauty secrets, we should be honest.”

Bella Hadid

For most of her career, Bella Hadid avoided accusations that she underwent plastic surgery to achieve her enviable beauty. But in 2022, the model admitted that she had already gone under the knife when she was 14 years old.

Speaking to Vogue US, Hadid shared: “I wish I had kept my ancestors' nose, I think I would have grown into it.”

She also opened up about the pressure she felt growing up as Gigi's younger sister, saying: “I was the uglier sister. I was the brunette. I wasn't as cool as Gigi, not as outgoing. That's really what people have said about me. And unfortunately, when people tell you things so often, you just believe it.”

But while she was willing to admit to having a nose job, Hadid was keen to set the record straight when it came to rumors of other cosmetic enhancements.

“I've never used putty before. Let's just put an end to this. I don't have a problem with it, but it's not for me. Whoever thinks I've had my eyes tightened or whatever it's called – it's face tape! Oldest trick in the book,” she told the publication.

Kristen Davis

Kristen Davis has been open about her experiences with fillers in recent years. Speaking to The Telegraph, the And Just Like That star opened up about the mental toll of fans noting that she looks different now than she did in 1998 when Sex And The City (AJLT's prequel) first aired.

“I did filler and it was good, and I did filler and it was bad. I had to have it dissolved and was ridiculed mercilessly. And I shed tears over it. It’s very stressful,” she shared.

“It's hard to be constantly confronted with your younger self. And it's a challenge to remember that you don't have to look like that. The Internet wants you to do it – but it also doesn't want you to do it. They are very contradictory…”

And if you thought A-listers were immune to filler regret, think again. Davis also admitted that, after the fact, she realized that the work she had previously done to her lips “didn't look good.”

“Nobody told me things weren’t looking good for a long time. But luckily I have good friends who said it at some point. The thing is, you don't smile at yourself in the mirror. Who smiles at themselves in the mirror? Crazy people,” she said.

Lisa Kudrow

Lisa Kudrow, another 90s TV star, has admitted to having plastic surgery before she became famous.

Speaking to the Saturday Evening Post, the actress admitted that she had a nose job at the age of 16: “I went from 'hideous' to 'not hideous' in my eyes.” I did it the summer before I went to a new high school,” she said. “So there were a lot of people who didn't know beforehand how hideous I looked. That was a good, good, good change.”

Anna Faris

For Anna Faris, plastic surgery never seemed to be an option. But speaking to Women's Health magazine, the actress described the monumental life changes that led to a shift in that perspective.

“I've always been a negative A guy, so when I was 30, I got divorced, I had just finished House Bunny and sold another movie, all these new things were happening to me, so I made mine Breasts are ready. It was fucking amazing,” she explained.

“I never thought I would ever do something like this. I always thought plastic surgery was pandering to “the man,” you know? It came down to one simple thing: I wanted to fill out a bikini.”

Tyra Banks

According to Tyra Banks, even supermodels go under the knife. In her book, Banks admitted that she had undergone a nose job, writing: “I had bones in my nose that were growing and itching. I could breathe well, but I added plastic surgery. I admit it! Fake hair, and I did my nose. I feel I have a responsibility to tell the truth.”

Victoria Beckham

Victoria Beckham famously got breast implants – and removed them – and has been very vocal about her plastic surgery regrets ever since.

In a letter to her 18-year-old self published by British Vogue in 2017, the former singer wrote: “Learn to embrace your imperfections – this is what I want to tell you.” Let your skin breathe; Wear less makeup… And I should probably say: Don't mess with your boobs. All these years I denied it – stupidly. A sign of insecurity. Just celebrate what you have.”
