Gabourey Sidibe appeared in 2009 and starred in the critically acclaimed film Precious, a role that earned her an Oscar nomination. Since then, she has continued to stun in roles on American Horror Story, Tower Heist, and Empire. But while the New York native made her mark in show business, Sidibe struggled with mental health issues and eating disorders, which she wrote about in her 2017 memoir, This is Just My Face, Try Not to Stare. These days, Sidibe probably spends most of her time preparing for her wedding to fiancé Brandon Frankel, scheduled for spring 2023.
