While it didn’t take long for national news channel Bharat24 to launch, it has already made its mark on the industry. The starry night was graced by none other than Bharat24 CEO and Editor-in-Chief Jagdeesh Chandra and Bharat24 Chief Business Officer Manoj Jagyasi. Both of them not only made the event something special through their presence, but also honored celebrities with prizes. Directly from Best Supporting Actor (Hindi), Best Supporting Actor (Regional Series), Best Supporting Actor (Short Film) and various other such nominations were awarded by them. The channel was the supporting media partner at Indian Television Dot Com’s recently held 2022 Indian Television Streaming Awards, which were honored by some of the entertainment industry’s most prominent figures. The awards night was held with the aim of recognizing various types of content on digital platforms that have won people’s hearts.
Several celebrities attended the glamorous event at the awards ceremony, held at JW Marriott, Mumbai, including Jim Sarbh, Amruta Subhash, Neena Gupta, Asha Negi, Surya Sharma, Akshay Oberoi, Tanvi Azmi, Neelu Koli, and Nakuul Mehta other. Speaking about the recently launched national news channel during the event, Jagdeesh Chandra said, “Bharat24 is a new discovery in news television. It will be the best news channel in the whole country. We are moving very quickly and I am convinced that we can successfully promote independent journalism and that it will be a true national news channel in every state of the country. It will not be like any other channel mainly viewed as NCR or New Delhi channel. We will cover the whole nation, be the voice of the nation.”
He added: “We nurture talent from all walks of life, be it journalism, entertainment or fashion. Overall, we strive to nurture talent in all areas.”
Manoj Jagyasi, Chief Business Officer of Bharat24, also spoke on the channel and congratulated the award winners. He said: “This is the first news channel with a network of 4,000 reporters. The flow of messages is natural and uninterrupted. That’s the only reason we get so much love from people, because they get what they want through the channel.”
