Celebrities at NBA Finals Game 1 include sports stars, movie stars

Celebrities at the NBA Finals are nothing new.

But seeing her at a Denver Nuggets game? This is different.

When the Nuggets hosted the Miami Heat in Game 1 at Ball Arena on Thursday night, several sports stars and even a movie star were spotted in the audience. Here are a few people who found their way to Denver’s greatest basketball game of all time.

It’s great to see the sports world centered on the Mile High City. Local celebrities showed up in Round 2 to a great Game 5 vs. the Suns, but that’s beyond the scope of this post.

With the series moving back to Miami next week, that should also attract a crowd of celebrities. It’s South Beach, after all.

But we’re no longer just a dusty cow town in the Rocky Mountains. Denver has arrived on the NBA map — and the Nuggets have a feeling they’re here to stay.
