It has been 75 years since the founding of Pakistan and, as every year, people don their green and white outfits and raise the crescent moon and star flag in celebration – everyone, including celebrities.

From creating new music in honor of the day to devising a plan to make big changes with “small acts of kindness,” celebrities like Ahsan Khan, Babar Azam, Mawra Hocane, Shaista Lodhi and Komal Rizvi wish you Azaadi Mubarak.

Actor and presenter Khan shared a sweet moment with a group of kids on set holding tiny flags to say “May 14”. August Mubarak”.

An outfit transition featuring a giant flag is how model Hasan Rizvi delivered the message.

Capt. Azam, in uniform, inscribed his post with a verse about the crescent on the flag, pleading that “never let our identity of this crescent and star fade”. He encouraged his followers to celebrate today and work to be a better citizen than yesterday.

Actor Hocane wished her “beautiful homeland” a happy 75th birthday

What better way to mark the day than with songs for singers? Faisal Kapadia tagged the “Jashn-e-Azadi” with a clip of him singing to the crowds at a rally.

Actor and singer Mohsin Abbas Haider summarized Pakistan in a 75-second rap “in a whole new look”.

Actress Komal and her mother and niece paid ‘homage’ to Pakistan, which survives despite trials and tribulations, with a three-generational reading of the national anthem.

Actress Alina Khan donned a special outfit she had tailored for the day to celebrate despite not being in the country as “no matter what corner of the world we are in, we are Pakistanis” and prayed for a better future.

Actor Atiqa Odho aims to celebrate freedom by “promoting human rights in which respect, dignity and equality become a code of life” to live up to the dreams of 1947.

TV presenter Lodhi recorded a message titled “Let’s start with a small deed” and suggested some lifestyle changes, such as eating.

Happy Independence Day everyone!
