Celebrities say religion doesn’t ban music after Abdullah Qureshi’s decision
Abdullah Qureshi, a musician, has said that he quits music for religious reasons. Qureshi explained his reasons for being “lost”.
In a message published on his social media platforms.
“I’ve received a lot of messages asking where I’ve been during this time,” he wrote. “I’ve been on a hiatus, I’ve been hitting the pause button for a while and taking this time to figure out who I am, where I’m going and who I want to become.” In announcing his decision to leave the music industry, Qureshi said, “I would like to take a moment to announce my departure from the music industry as I have decided to no longer pursue music as a full-time profession. I made this decision for purely religious reasons.”

He added: “I’ve had a great time making music, playing in concerts for thousands of people, being loved and appreciated, facing controversy, making some wrong decisions, spreading something positive, making some amazing friends , to work with people who were my idols, to learn from the best and to do what I love to do.” Qureshi shared how he now believes the real purpose of his life is “much bigger than all of that,” and remarked, “We have very little time in this world to make our afterlife better.”
However, Natasha Baig, a singer, disagreed with Abdullah’s comments and said what she thought of what he said. She said people can leave the store if they want, but they shouldn’t make other people look like devils because music is sacred.
