With a love of all things pop culture and an unhealthy obsession with reality television (Catfish The TV Show in particular), she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Cinema/Screen Studies from the State University of New York at Oswego in 2021. Corey left her roots in Rochester, NY to join the team in New York City. The Masked Singer UK via YouTube
We’ve seen over a hundred celebrities take the stage in The Masked Singer in the US version of the series, but what about other countries? Here is a list of celebrities (who are/were popular in America) who have participated in The Masked Singer worldwide.
1. Cody Simpson
Singer and Dancing With the Stars alum Cody Simpson appeared as a robot in The Masked Singer AU in 2019. As part of the competition, he performed James Bay’s “Hold Back the River,” Daryl Braithwaite’s “The Horses,” Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber’s “I Don’t Care,” and more. In the end, Cody won the contest, only one judge correctly guessing his identity.
2. Michelle Williams
Destiny’s Child member Michelle Williams has appeared in both the American and British versions of The Masked Singer. After her appearance in The Masked Singer (USA) season 2, Michelle appeared on The Masked Singer UK. Earlier this year she was revealed to be a rockhopper after six weeks on stage.
3. Macy Grey
Even Ohio American Song Contest representative Macy Gray performed at The Masked Singer AU in late 2021. She took the stage three times before being unmasked. None of the judges correctly assessed her identity.
4. Knot
Singer/songwriter Ne-Yo was revealed to be part of The Masked Singer UK in 2020. Although Ne-Yo has a fairly recognizable voice, only two of the panelists correctly guessed his identity. He finished runner-up for the season behind Joss Stone as a sausage.
5. Mel B
Former America’s Got Talent judge Mel B was unmasked at The Masked Singer UK in 2021. Mel B only made one appearance before being unmasked. Since she’s such a big name, it’s no surprise that three out of four panelists guessed her identity correctly.
6. CeeLo Green
Even one of The Voice’s original coaches was part of The Masked Singer worldwide. Original trainer CeeLo Green appeared on The Masked Singer UK in 2020. He performed six times before revealing his identity.
