Television personality Bobby Riverswho hosted shows like “Look at Bobby Rivers.” At VH1 And “Top 5” on the Food Network, deceased December 26th aged 70 after battling lung cancer and a series of strokes.
MP Funkadelic Amp Fiddler deceased December 18th in old age 65 after a long battle with cancer.
Actor Andre Braugherbest known for his roles in “Brooklyn Nine-Nine,” “Homicide: Life on the Street,” and “Glory,” died on 11th December months after being diagnosed with lung cancer.
Honored actor Richard Roundtree died on October 24th Peacefully diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in his home. Roundtree was best known for his iconic role John Shaft in the 1970s Movie, “Wave.” He was 81.
Singer and founder of the Isley Brothers Rudolph Isley died of a heart attack in old age 84 At October 11th. He incorporated his expertise into several classics, such as: “Between the Sheets,” “For the Love of You, Pts. 1 &2“ and several others.
Rapper Gangsta Boo died on January 1st from an accidental drug overdose. The Memphis star was a member of Three 6 Mafia before leaving the group to begin her solo career. She appeared on the show before her death GloRilla on Latto’s single “FTCU.”
DJ Casper, also known as William Perry Jr., died on August 7th. He was the founder of the famous “Cha-cha slide.” Unfortunately, he lost his battle with kidney and liver cancer 58.
The legendary Tina Turner died on May 24th after years of health problems such as stroke, cancer and kidney disease. The rock and roll sensation is widely known for hits like “What does love have to do with it?” “I Don’t Wanna Fight” and “Private Dancer.” Plus she was half of Ike and Tina Turner with her ex-husband. Together they created timeless records like “Proud Mary” and “Nutbush City Limits.” Turner was 83.
R&B singer Irish Grinstead died on 16th September after a long battle with a serious illness, which was not disclosed. Grinstead, along with her group 702released popular singles, “Get It Together,” “Steelo,” and “Where My Girls At.” She was easy 43 Year old.
Actor, singer and activist Harry Belafonte died on August 25th in old age 96. Over the course of his career, in addition to his entertainment efforts, he also focused heavily on the civil rights movement.
Singer Bobby Caldwell died of an illness the 14th of March in old age 71. He is best known for his single “What you wouldn’t do for love.” Caldwell's music was sampled by Tupac Shakur, Biggie Smalls and Commonto name a few.
