The Celebrity Big Brother concept seems to be lost on Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu as the housemates nominate in person on Thursday evening.

As the revamped show approaches half-time, the former Love Island winner, 29, is fuming after receiving a paltry individual nomination from Broadway star Marisha Wallace.

“I know if I get to the final, I can’t beat you,” she explained. “I know if you get to the final with me, you’ll win the public vote.”

While Ekin-Su was visibly seething with anger, she added: “I know when we compete, you have a huge following, you've played these games before, you know how to win, and if I want to win this, If I ever had a chance, I wouldn't have a chance against you. I know that for sure.'

Despite suggesting two nominations herself – one of them Louis Walsh, whom she cheerfully calls “wrong” – she rages: “I knew this was going to happen, this condemnation of me for having been on a show before, her gets into scenes of anger,” which will air on Thursday’s show.

The Celebrity Big Brother concept appears to be lost on Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, with her housemates nominating in person on Thursday and the Love Island winner fuming over a single vote. Ekin-Su didn't look happy after receiving her only nomination from a yet-to-be-announced housemate, in scenes set to air on Thursday night

“You've been close to me this whole time, so you've been wrong about me this whole time.”

The housemates were led to the “kissing booth” where they nominated face-to-face before sealing each vote with a kiss.

Elsewhere there is further tension as one nominating housemate said: “I don't understand you, you don't understand me.”

“I sometimes feel like you're wearing a mask… I feel like I don't know the real you and that has disappointed and disturbed me.”

Former X Factor judge Louis Walsh didn't hold back when he responded to Ekin-Su's comments, telling the group: “I'm not fake, I'm not acting. “A lot of people here are..”

As a result, five housemates face the public vote, but who will leave on Friday evening remains to be seen.

Away from the nominations, Celebrity Big Brother bosses broke a strict show rule to tell a housemate they had been nominated for a major award, causing them to burst into tears.

American actress Marisha is up for Best Actress in a Musical at the Olivier Awards, but has remained tight-lipped about the award, which is highly coveted in her field.

On Thursday night's episode, Marisha is overcome with emotion when she is finally told the news, and the rest of her co-stars congratulate her on the achievement.

Before the show's most dramatic nominations, where the housemates have to vote in person, Big Brother turns the garden into a fair and Marisha plays on the Wheel of Fortune, which reveals: “Exciting things are coming on Sunday April 14th.” “You will be a nominee at the Olivier Awards.”

The show's rules state that celebrities are not allowed to have any contact with the outside world, but a TV source told MailOnline she felt Marisha's OIivier nomination was too special to keep secret.

A show insider said: “Producers decided to send a message to Marisha about her OIivier Award nomination.”

“It's a big moment in her life and now she'll never forget finding out, surrounded by her co-stars in the Celebrity Big Brother house. “She was stunned by the news and overwhelmed with emotion.”

Marisha is nominated for Best Actress in a Musical for her role in Guys & Dolls at the Bridge Theater.

She faces competition from 45-year-old Nicole Scherzinger, who won an award after her performance in “Sunset Boulevard” at the Savoy Theater.
