Celebrity series to feature music honoring the Carpenters at Westminster College in New Wilmington, Pennsylvania

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. (WKBN) – Westminster Celebrity Series will feature the music of The Carpenters next month.
“Superstar. The Songs. The Stories. “The Carpenters” takes place on Saturday, March 9, at 7:30 p.m. in the Will W. Orr Auditorium on the Westminster College campus.
Tickets cost between $39 and $43.
The event will feature the brother-sister duo's music and backstage stories to paint a picture of their 70s chart success. The duo produced 12 top 10 hits.
The film stars West End and Broadway performer Helen Welch.
The show will be performed with the blessing of Richard Carpenter, organizers said.
