LOS ANGELES — Chris Hemsworth, a local celebrity, said it seemed like something he should be doing given his income and public standing, and was reportedly considering getting his pilot’s license on Friday. “I was just wondering what to do now that I’ve got a bunch of money and free time, and it just hit me — I should be training to fly small planes,” Hemsworth said, adding that he shared with others Celebrities had talked about getting a pilot’s license and the celebrities all told him they were thinking about getting one too. “I honestly never dreamed of being a pilot growing up and I was never that interested in airplanes, but since becoming a celebrity I’ve really started thinking about it. It would also be something interesting to include in the Personal Life section of my Wikipedia page. Then I could talk about it in interviews and say something about how I like the freedom of flying an airplane and how it gives me the opportunity to see the world below from a new perspective. I also think an Instagram pic of me wearing a headset on a plane every now and then would be really fun for me and my fans.” Hemsworth added that he’s also looking forward to reading news about him narrowly survived a minor plane crash after accidentally grounding his plane during a storm.
