Dylan Alcott showed off his bulging biceps on Tuesday as he got in a tough workout at the gym with celebrity trainer Jono Castano.

The three-time Paralympic gold medalist, 33, worked up a sweat in videos shared to Jono's Instagram Stories.

In the first clip, the former Australian of the Year burned his muscles using battle ropes, before doing push-ups with push-up bars in the second clip.

Jono, 33, stayed close to Dylan, spotting him and encouraging him as Dylan went through his reps.

In a sign of his mental strength, Dylan stuck out his tongue at the camera as his arms began to sway before struggling through the fight.

It comes just days after Dylan led the stars at the media call for The Rocky Horror Picture Show last Wednesday.

The athlete took on the role of narrator while promoting the new season of the production, which runs from March 31 to April 17 at Sydney's Theater Royal.

Comedian Peter Helliar will take on the role of the former wheelchair tennis star from April 18th until the end of the show on May 5th.

Dylan announced his shocking career move in December last year and said he was incredibly excited about his new acting role.

“I am thrilled to be a part of this incredible production of the iconic show,” he said in a statement at the time.

“I couldn't imagine a better opportunity for my first theater production and was very grateful. 'I can't wait to get to work and rock out on stage in Sydney!'

Dylan will be joined by a number of veteran actors, including Jason Donovan, who will take on the lead role of Frank N. Furter.

Other famous Australians who will take on the role of narrator during the show's tour include Myf Warhurst in Newcastle and Joel Creasey in Melbourne.

Dylan has previously expressed interest in pursuing acting.

In July last year, it was announced that he would be making a cameo appearance in the upcoming fourth season of the Stan series Bump.
