Epstein Case: Leonardo DiCaprio To Naomi Campbell, List Of Celebrities Named In Unsealed Documents

Recently, 19 sealed documents related to a lawsuit against Jeffrey Epstein were released, revealing the names of high-profile celebrities including Leonardo DiCaprio and Naomi Campbell.

In a major development, a number of high-profile celebrities were named in a total of 19 sealed documents from a Jeffrey Epstein-related lawsuit that were recently publicly released. Epstein, a convicted pedophile, died in a US prison before he could stand trial on sex trafficking charges.

The Epstein list contained in the unsealed papers contains the names of approximately 150 Epstein associates. The documents were filed as part of Virginia Giuffre's 2015 defamation lawsuit against Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein's co-conspirator in his sexual abuse scheme.

Celebrities named in the Epstein list

In addition to political figures, several celebrities were also mentioned in the Epstein list. However, the names that have emerged are based on discussions one of his accusers described in which he outlined his connections to famous people.

Johanna Sjoberg, an Epstein accuser, cited celebrities such as Leonardo DiCaprio, Cate Blanchett and Bruce Willis in her testimony, claiming that Epstein bragged about them without providing evidence of their actual acquaintance. When asked about meeting Cameron Diaz, the alleged victim replied in the negative.

For the late pop star Michael Jackson, Sjoberg claimed to have met him at Epstein's Palm Beach residence and clarified that her interaction with Jackson did not include a massage, a task assigned to her for Epstein.

About the Jeffrey Epstein case

On July 6, 2019, Epstein was arrested by the FBI-NYPD Crimes Against Children Task Force at Teterboro Airport in New Jersey on sex trafficking charges. He was incarcerated at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York City. The documents are part of a 2015 civil defamation lawsuit by Virginia Roberts Giuffre, an American who alleged that Epstein sexually abused her when she was a minor and that Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein's former girlfriend, aided in the abuse.

Maxwell was sentenced to 20 years in prison in 2022. Epstein died by suicide in 2019 while awaiting sex trafficking charges. Hundreds of pages of unsealed documents from a lawsuit related to the accused sex trafficker were released publicly on Wednesday, January 3.
