Robyn Bernard was found dead Tuesday morning at the age of 64 in San Jacinto, California. She was known for her role as Terry Brock in the popular soap opera, General Hospitalafter making her debut in 1984 before leaving the TV show in 1990.
Throughout her career, she also starred in shows such as “Diva,” “Simon & Simon,” and “Betty Blue.” Other projects included “Whiz Kids”, “The Facts of Life”, “Tour of Duty” and “Kings for a Day” in what turned out to be a relatively short career.
She played her last role in 2002 before retiring from acting for the last 22 years of her life. Her most recent role was as a psychologist in Voices from High School.
Bernard was born May 26, 1959 in Gladewater. Texas into a family in which she is survived by her father and her two sisters.
Her time of death was 4:08 a.m. on Tuesday, March 12, 2024.
What was the cause of death?
Her discovery was unusual and could raise suspicion since, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Office, she was found in an “open field behind a store,” although they clearly emphasize that no foul play is expected.
Additionally, a toxicology report could take weeks to come out, so it is unknown if her death was caused by substances/substance abuse. According to TMZ, an autopsy was scheduled to take place on Wednesday, March 13.
