After a one-year hiatus, the Golden Globes, hosted by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) are back in their traditional form.

Last year investigative journalists at the Los Angeles Times revealed corruption and discriminatory practices within the HFPA, in addition to noting that the organization had no black members. This reporting led to a industry-wide boycott of the ceremonywhich prompted NBC to halt their live coverage of the event.

After a year of changes to the HFPA’s governance structure, actors, directors and other major Hollywood leagues have decided to return.
