She opened up during an appearance on The Art Of Being Well podcast, where she spoke to her friend dr Will Coleand was heavily criticized for some of the procedures she advocated.
In response to the backlash, she shared a video on her Instagram to try and shed more light on why she’s doing what she’s doing.
“I’ve had COVID for a long time and the way it manifests for me is very high levels of inflammation over time,” she said on social media.
“So I worked with that Dr. Cole to really focus on foods that are non-flammable.
“[The podcast] was a transparent conversation with me and my doctor. It is not meant to be advice for others.
“It really just works for me and it’s been very powerful and very positive.
“And by the way, I eat a lot more than bone broth and vegetables.
“I eat full meals, and I also have a lot of days when I eat whatever I want. And I eat, you know, french fries and whatever.
“It really is exactly what worked for me and it was very powerful and very positive. That’s not to say I eat like this all day, every day.”
