Japanese developers and celebrities vote on the top games of 2022

In its latest edition Famitsu revealed the results of the 20 best games of 2022, voted on by Japanese developers, celebrities and more. This is an annual tradition for the magazine.
A few Nintendo-released games made the list, including Splatoon 3 – which just missed the top spot. Pokemon held two spots with Pokemon Legends: Arceus and Scarlet/Violet.
The full list is as follows:

- Pokemon Scarlet / Violet
- Stray
- cult of the Lamb
- Tactical Ogre: Reborn
- Vampire Survivor
- Pokémon Legends: Arceus
- Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak
- encryption
- Gran Turismo 7
- Horizon forbidden west
- Needy streamer overload
- Genshin Impact
- Dragon Quest X offline
- Uma Musume Pretty Derby
- Kirby and the forgotten land
- Apex Legends
- Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
Note that those who voted weren’t necessarily limited to what came out this year. As they were asked to vote on trending games and their personal preferences, something like Uma Musume Pretty Derby made the list.
