Tems, a native of Lagos, Nigeria, will perform at the halftime show with two other Nigerian artists: Grammy-winning singer-songwriter-producer Burna Boy and up-and-coming rap artist Rema. Following her performance, the NBA will hold a celebration to commemorate LeBron, who passed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar to become all-time leading scorer.

Not to mention, the beloved Affleck will be introducing the teams ahead of the All-Star Celebrity Game on Friday night. Notably, Affleck stars in the upcoming film Air, which follows how former marketing director Sonny Vaccaro signed NBA icon Michael Jordan to a Nike deal.

Finally, The Bonner Family will perform “The Star-Spangled Banner” before Friday’s Rising Stars game and Saturday’s NBA HBCU Classic college basketball game between Southern and Grambling State. They will also perform “Lift Every Voice and Sing,” often credited as the black national anthem.
