Kat Dennings and Andrew WK weren't “home alone” when they walked down the aisle.
The “2 Broke Girls” actress and rock singer married on November 27 in an intimate ceremony at their home in Los Angeles, the couple confirmed to Vogue in a story published Monday.
“We realized that a small wedding at home was too cozy to resist,” Dennings told The Fashion Store. “Plus, all of our stuff was there, so we didn’t have to pack anything.”
The newlywed couple also kept a low profile when it came to the guest list, which according to Vogue only consisted of around 15 people. Luckily, close friends Macaulay Culkin and Brenda Song made it.
In a photo from the wedding provided by Vogue, Culkin is seen wrapping his arms around Song and planting a kiss on the back of her head as the “Amphibia” star looks on.
“Everyone was happy and having fun and there was never a dull moment,” said Dennings, reflecting on the homely atmosphere of the ceremony. “I immediately took off my shoes.”
Culkin and Song's appearance at Dennings' wedding follows the couple's high-profile appearance on the Hollywood Walk of Fame earlier this month. The Home Alone star was ranked 2,765th on December 1st. Star honored on the Walk of Fame.
During his emotional acceptance speech, Culkin thanked everyone who helped him in his career, as well as his family and his fiancée, Song.
“I want to thank Brenda. You are absolutely everything,” Culkin said. “You are my champion. You are the only person who is happier for me than me today. You’re not just the best woman I’ve ever known, you’re the best person I’ve ever known.”
