Kylie Jenner arrived at Paris Haute Couture Week in true Leo fashion.
The 25-year-old beauty mogul was one of several celebrities who attended Schiaparelli’s spring/summer haute couture show on Monday, kicking off the week’s celebrations. Emily in Paris star Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, Doja Cat and Diane Kruger were among some of the stars who had front row seats.
Jenner turned heads wearing a ruched black velvet dress with a huge lion head on her shoulder as a statement piece.

“Beauty and the Beast,” she captioned photos shared on Instagram. “Thank you @danielroseberry and @schiaparelli for this special morning.”
The Kardashians star added, “Wow, I loved wearing this faux art creation that was made by hand from man made materials. Beautiful, beautiful.”
The outfit was straight off the runway. Model Irina Shayk wore the same accessory with a different black dress as she strutted down the runway during the show.
Kylie Jenner, Hailey Bieber and more Gen Z stars are igniting the no pants fashion trend.
Schiaparelli explained the inspiration by the lion heads on Instagram, writing: “The leopard, the lion and the she-wolf – representing lust, pride and avarice in Dante’s iconic allegory – in hand-formed faux fur in foam, resin, wool and silk, hand-painted to so to look as lifelike as possible.”
“No animals were harmed in the creation of this look,” the brand added.
The collection featured several animal heads, with Shalom Harlow wearing a snow leopard print dress with a lion on the chest and Naomi Campbell wearing a full-length black fur jacket with a wolf’s head on the shoulder.
Despite the disclaimer, Jenner received criticism in her comments section for “glorifying animal hunting.”
“This is poaching advert, not fashion. Very wrong,” wrote one person.
Another Instagram user commented, “Even though it’s not real, it’s still disturbing and distasteful.”
“Obviously it’s not a true lion head but a very poor choice for a fashion statement,” added one commenter.

Jenner’s photos from the Schiaparelli show come days after she shared photos of her son on social media and announced his new name.
The reality TV star posted four pictures of the baby boy, who was born to her and boyfriend Travis Scott in February 2022, on Instagram on Saturday. Along with the pictures, she posted: “AIRE” and a heart emoji.
A week after his birth, Jenner announced on social media that his name was Wolf Webster. But a month later, she said on Instagram that a name change was coming because “we just didn’t feel like it was him.”
A new name for the newborn was not announced at the time.
