J. Prince denies claims that celebrities are required to “check in” with him whenever they visit Houston.
On Sunday’s episode of the Million Dollaz Worth Of Game podcast, the Rap-A-Lot founder says he doesn’t have “time” to deal with celebrities who check in when they travel to town.
“Never. We don’t have time for this shitty shit,” Prince said. “A lot of people from the different police departments to all these different people want to suggest that we’re blackmailing people and they have to come forward.”
He continued: “Man, that’s no money for that shit! I have more money than I can spend, right? It will not work. It’s not gonna end well because there’s no way real n*ggas are gonna have this. Check in for what?”
However, Prince did mention that being friends with him is an advantage.
“But on the other hand, there’s what you call a brownie point, to being able to have us as friends,” added Prince. “I don’t want to impose myself or force myself not to hug anyone. For the same reason, for those I respect and am friends with, there is a difference if you come to this town as our friend or as yourself. And the difference is, we all respect it.”
As we previously reported, the Prince family has also spoken out start is Death with the podcast hosts. Since the rapper’s death, many people have blamed the Prince family for seeing that Takeoff was with Prince’s son, J. Prince Jr., at the time of his death.
Despite this, the family have maintained their innocence and have denied responsibility for Takeoff’s death.
