These and several other well-known celebrities proudly own their own brands of alcohol, which are known around the world for their taste and aroma. Here are 10 such prominent companies:
Nick JonasVilla One
The stylish partner of Bollywood’s Priyanka Chopra, Nick Jonas is also a well-known singer and co-owner of Villa One, a high-end tequila company. There are currently three different flavors: Silver, Reposado and Anejo.
Casamigos Tequila, George Clooney:
George Clooney is not only a well-known Hollywood actor, he also owns Casamigos Tequila. Casamigos means “house of friends” in Mexican. Originally intended for the actor and his friends, this tequila later became a phenomenon in the alcohol market.
Drew Barrymore’s Barrymore Wines:
This Charlie’s Angels star is the owner of Barrymore Wines, a winery known for its accessible wines. Her company makes pinot grigio, pinot noir, and rosé wine.
Bethenny Frankel’s Skinny Girl:
The Skinnygirl company, known worldwide for its flavored vodkas and ready-to-drink cocktails, is the proud owner of the Real Housewives star. Although Frankel worked with a major alcohol company to grow the brand, she is still responsible for Skinnygirl.
Travis Scott, Cacti Seltzer:
Introducing the Spiked Selters, remade by Travis Scott. The fruity alcohol, created in collaboration with American brewing guru Anheuser-Busch, is available in lime, pineapple and strawberry flavors. Seltzer has become a popular drink with celebrities because it contains 100% high-quality natural agave from Mexico.
818, Kendall Jenner:
Kendall Jenner combines her love for tequila and the environment by giving her brand a neighborhood name. With the brand already winning awards in less than a year on the market, it seems that Jenner has more than achieved their goal of making the best tasting tequila. However, the environmental aspect of 818 is more important. The line gives one percent of the proceeds from each bottle sold to global non-profit environmental partners.
Virginia Black Whisky, Drake:
Virginia Black Whiskey was founded in 2016 by Grammy-winning musician and spirits entrepreneur Brent Hocking. Set out to redefine whiskey, Drake and his business partner envisioned sharing a reasonably priced selection of 2, 3 and 4 year old bourbons that they personally selected. Reviews also suggest it’s the “best drinkable whiskey” they’ve ever tasted. So it appears that Drake has added the Master Distiller to his long list of abilities.
Sean “Diddy” Combs from Ciroc:
Ciroc Vodka is owned by well-known hip-hop singer and businessman Sean Diddy and is manufactured by a major alcoholic beverage company. This five-times distilled vodka with grape brandy has delicious notes of raspberry and rose petals.
Ryan Reynolds’ Aviation Gin:
The newest addition to this group, Ryan Reynolds, recently acquired Aviation Gin. Rather than being overwhelmed by a single botanical, this artisanal gin brings together seven different ones.
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Teremana Tequila:
This small-batch tequila is known for its vanilla and oak flavors. A naturally sweet agave plant is used to make Teramana, which is then slowly roasted in humble traditional stone ovens and then distilled in handcrafted copper stills.
Tequila Sauza 901 – Justin Timberlake:
Sauza 901 Tequila is a well-known tequila with the area code of Memphis, Tennessee, the home of Justin Timberlake. It is a silky tequila that has been triple distilled. In 2012, this tequila also won a gold medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
Danny Denzongpa – Dansberg Bear:
Last but not the least, famous Indian actor Danny Denzongpa is the owner of a brewery that produces various beers. One of the better-known beers is Dansberg beer, which is produced in several variants.
