Today is the birthday of two of India’s great figures, former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and veteran actor Dev Anand.

However, no one can deny that both have achieved great success in their respective fields. Former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh was born on September 26, 1932. He was the country’s prime minister from 2004 to 2014. The established economist Dr. Singh are also credited with the economic reforms implemented during the tenure of then Prime Minister PV Narasimha Rao as Minister of Finance.

Well-known Bollywood actor Dev Anand was also born on September 26th. Dev Anand, the evergreen actor who spent nearly six decades spreading the magic of his talent, performance and romance in Hindi cinema, was born in 1923 in Gurdaspur, Punjab to a middle-class family. Dev Anand was one of the famous actors of the 50’s-60’s. His acting and dialogue style was unique.
