Outlander star Sam Heughan, 43, signs up to celebrity dating app Raya in a bid to find love

Sam Heughan has signed up to celebrity dating app Raya to find love, MailOnline can reveal.

Although the Scottish actor, 43, is known for his role as dashing Highland warrior Jamie Fraser in Outlander, he has yet to find his dream partner.

Sam, who was last seen romancing Australian model Monika Clarke in 2022, has decorated his Raya profile with a slew of attractive snaps and lists the UK as his main location.

MailOnline has contacted a representative for Sam Heughan for comment.

Raya is a private membership community that started as a dating app but has since evolved into a platform for networking and social discovery.

Sam was spotted kissing model Monika two years ago and was also linked to Twin Peaks actress Amy Shiels in 2018.

He previously dated Into The Woods actress MacKenzie Mauzy in 2017 before they quietly split the following year, and has also previously dated Cody Kennedy and Abbie Salt.

In May 2023, Sam gave rare insight into his love life by admitting he's still looking for “the one.”

He told People: “I gave all the presents and showed up when you least expected it, but so far I'm still looking.”

He starred throughout the run of the Starz series Outlander, with the second half of season seven scheduled to premiere in November 2024.

Outlander is a historical drama television series based on the ongoing novel series of the same name by Diana Gabaldon.

The focus is on the English battle sister Claire Randall (Catriona Balfe) from 1945, who is mysteriously transported back in time to 1743.

Last year Sam also starred alongside Poldark's Eleanor Tomlinson in the hot Channel 4 drama The Couple Next Door.

In the series, Evie and her husband Pete (Alfred Enoch) moved to an upscale neighborhood where they met neighboring cop Danny (Sam) and his wife, glamorous yoga instructor Becka (Jessica De Gouw).

As time passes, these two couples grow closer and closer, and on one fateful night they become sexually involved in a way that will change their lives forever.

During filming, Eleanor and Sam worked with intimacy coordinator Vanessa Coffey.

Before filming, the two also knew each other through their mutual friend Caitríona Balfe, who plays Jamie's wife Claire in “Outlander.”
