“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Porsha Williams has filed for divorce from Simon Guobadia after 15 months of marriage.
Williams filed her petition Thursday in Fulton County Superior Court in Georgia, according to documents obtained by USA TODAY on Friday. As a wife, she is “entitled to a divorce from (Guobadia) on the grounds that the marriage has irretrievably broken down … and there is no prospect of reconciliation,” her filing states.
In her filing, Williams states that she and Guobadia “currently live in a true state of separation” and also requests that the court enforce the prenuptial agreement the couple entered into on November 17, 2022, a few days before their wedding on November 22, 2022. She also requests that Guobadia be ordered to pay her “reasonable attorneys' fees and litigation costs incurred by her as a result of this divorce.”

The couple went public in May 2021, with Williams confirming her “beautiful” new relationship with Guobadia, the ex-husband of her “Real Housewives of Atlanta” co-star Falynn Pina, in an Instagram post.
“Our relationship started a month ago – yes, we are crazy about love. I know it's going fast but we're living life to the fullest every day,” Williams captioned the photo of her and Guobadia. “I choose happiness every morning and every night. I turn off all negative energy and focus only on positive desires.”
Williams said she understands the “optics” but wrote that Simon Guobadia's divorce from Falynn Pina is finalized and she had nothing to do with the split.
Simon Guiobadia returned the favor by going official with Williams on Instagram and revealing that the two were engaged.
“I asked her to marry me because we checked ALL each other's boxes and more,” he wrote. “What we have is what we wish for every single one of you out there – happiness. When I asked…she said yes. That’s ALL that mattered.”
Williams joined “Real Housewives” in season five as the wife of former NFL player Kordell Stewart. The couple divorced in 2013. She shares daughter Pilar McKinley with her ex Dennis McKinley.
Earlier this month, Bravo announced that Williams would be returning to “RHOA” after two years, shortly after Kandi Burruss announced that she would be stepping away from the reality show after Season 15. Williams starred in Season 3 of The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip. “, which was filed in Thailand and aired last year.
