Russian President Vladimir Putin on Thursday praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the success of the G20 summit that ended last month. He called Prime Minister Modi a “very wise man” and said India has made great progress under his leadership.
“We have very good political relations with Prime Minister Modi, he is a very wise man. And India has made great strides in development under his leadership. This fully corresponds to the interest of India and Russia in working on this agenda,” Putin said.
Additionally, actors Shraddha Kapoor, Huma Qureshi, Hina Khan and comedian Kapil Sharma have been summoned by the law enforcement agency in connection with the investigation into an online betting case.
On Thursday, Ranbir Kapoor, who was summoned by the law enforcement agency in the same case, sought more time from the central probe agency to appear before it in person. The law enforcement agency has yet to decide whether to grant the actor two weeks.
