As celebrities continue to storm the venue of Hilda Back’s Marathon Cookhouse to show their support and entertain guests, reality stars and musicians, Teddy A has criticized her peers for trying to make an impact with Hilda’s performance.
Teddy A, in a statement on his Instagram page on Monday, wondered how many of the celebrities have left their busy days behind to support some of their friends and colleagues who have similar restaurants elsewhere.
“Have you ever left the comfort of your home to support a friend’s canteen or buka, or even a regular business? But under the pretense of supporting each other, they would drive for miles and take pictures. “The fake for this is una Blood, go die wit una,” he explained.
While praising Hilda for breaking the current Guinness World Record and setting a new record with her four-day marathon cooking marathon, Teddy A noted that many who drove to the venue were not doing the same for their peers.
Since the start of the cooking challenge, the spot has witnessed the large presence of celebrities such as Nancy Isime, Yvonne Jegede, Charles, Orezi, Bimbo Ademoye, Timi Dakolo, Nse Etim, Banky W and wife Adesua, Woli Agba and others.
Former Akwa Ibom State Governor Godswill Akpabio and Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu have appeared at the venue, while Vice President Professor Yemi Osinbajo also spoke to Hilda by phone to give her encouragement.
