The young artist died in a car accident, according to the Sparkle GMA Artist Center
MANILA, Philippines — Teenage GMA artist Andrei Sison died in a car accident early in the morning of March 24, according to his talent agency, Sparkle GMA Artist Center, on social media.
In an Instagram post, Sparkle offered Andrei’s family his “sincere condolences” and urged his fans to respect the family’s privacy “at this time of great loss.”
“He was a well-loved and valued member of the Sparkle family. We will miss you Andrey. Be with God now,” Sparkle said. According to a PEP report, Andrei was 16 years old.
According to a GMA News report, on Thursday evening, March 23, Andrei finished recording for a variety show and left GMA studios before 7:00 p.m. Sparkle then received a call from Andrei’s relatives at 5:30 a.m. informing them of the fatal accident. The police said it happened around 2:30 a.m. on Friday.
