‘The Masked Singer’ sends home 2 celebrities in double elimination

The double reveal of “The Masked Singer” sends two celebrities home

During a double reveal on The Masked Singer on Wednesday, two contestants regrettably went home.

It was a double unmasking on Wednesday night’s new episode of “The Masked Singer.”

In the ‘First Round Finals’, all three ‘Group A’ finalists returned one last time and fought for a chance to make it to the finals.

This meant that two celebrities would be unmasked while only one contestant would advance to the finals in hopes of winning the Golden Mask Trophy.

Jorge Garcia revealed on “The Masked Singer”

This time, actor and comedian Jorge Garcia was the first person to be exposed and sent home.

“I would have liked to have stayed longer, but I got to sing three songs, and I’m really happy with what I’ve done here,” said Garcia, who is known for shows like “Lost” and “Hawaii Five-0” Experience during an exit interview. “It’s a real honor to be part of the show and to get such a cool costume, so I’m comfortable with that,” Garcia added.

Despite all the “lost” clues supplied over the weeks, none of the panelists could guess that Garcia was the one in the Cyclops costume and behind the mask.

“Now that I’ve been on the show, I have a lot more respect for what the people on the show have to do when they’re wearing these big costumes,” he continued, adding, “It’s a whole different ball game.” “

Jordan Mailata revealed on The Masked Singer

The second contestant to be revealed and exiting the contest was Philadelphia Eagles NFL football player Jordan Mailata as Thingamabob.

“When the first show came out, I was a huge fan of ‘The Masked Singer,'” he shared, admitting that he had been watching singer T-Pain when he won the very first season of the show.

During his exit interview, the professional offensive tackle said his time on set and on the show was “amazing” but he was sad his journey was over.

“I have to go home tonight, I’m kind of depressed,” he revealed. “I thought I would go all the way to represent ‘Team Cuddly.'”

When Mailata was introduced to the audience, host Nick Cannon said, “We would never know that an NFL star would have such reach and such ability.”

Mailata concluded: “I think my teammates will say, ‘Why did you come to play football? You should have been singing your whole life.”

Next week a brand new group from “The Good, The Bad and The Cuddly” will take the stage.
