AntPool, a mining pool affiliated with Bitmain, overtakes Foundry USA as the leading Bitcoin mining pool for the first time since January 2022.
The development, based on the amount of blocks mined each month, was recorded for the first time since January 2022, amid the aggressive rollout of Bitmain's latest mining equipment.

The latest data from the Bitcoin network shows that Antpool successfully mined 1,219 blocks in November, slightly overtaking Foundry USA, which mined 1,216 blocks. Antpool's mining efforts have brought significant rewards to its customers, accumulating a total of 8,672 BTC, with an additional 83.6 BTC earmarked for refunds.
Foundry USA's prominence as a leading mining pool has been unchallenged since early 2022, a status bolstered by the surge in North American mining activity following China's strict regulations on the industry in 2021.
However, AntPool has been gradually approaching the dominance of Foundry USA, especially since mid-2022. This increase in AntPool's mining capacity is consistent with Bitmain's delivery of a significant amount of Antminer S19XP and S19XP Hydro units to its American subsidiary in Georgia.
According to TheMinerMag, over 4,800 tons of these mining machines were transported between June and November. The cumulative computing power of these imports is believed to exceed 37 EH/s, which contributes significantly to AntPool's increased mining performance.
