Bitcoin (BTC) price is at risk as analysts predict a $54.73 million liquidation

According to data from CoinMarketCap, Bitcoin (BTC) maintained its uptrend over the last day, rising 4.04% and briefly trading above the $48,000 mark. With BTC now hovering around the $47,100 price zone, investors and market experts remain highly speculative about the token's next development. With this in mind, popular analyst Ali Martinez has made an important prediction that could mean significant losses for many investors.

Martinez explained that liquidity hunters in the BTC market may try to push the price of the token up to $45,810 for personal reasons. In context: Liquidity hunters are traders or investors who actively look for opportunities in the financial markets to take advantage of changes in liquidity.

This group of market participants often targets specific price levels where there is a concentration of stop-loss orders or where low market liquidity is expected. By triggering liquidations or taking advantage of price movements, liquidity hunters aim to profit from short-term market inefficiencies.

According to Martinez, liquidity hunters in the BTC market are currently trying to reduce the price of the token by an estimated 3%. While this change may seem minimal, it represents a staggering $54.73 million in liquidations. Based on these numbers, BTC traders and investors should be wary of potentially significant losses in the coming days.
