Bitcoin is poised for a bearish trajectory – while long-term forecasts suggest $40,000 could be on the horizon
The crypto market, especially the Bitcoin price, has been on a rollercoaster ride for the past few weeks. The value of the managed token experienced massive price movements that marked highs above $27,000 and also found lows below $25,500. While market sentiment appears to have turned extremely uncertain, the long-term chart shows the possibility of a bullish breakout.
A few months ago, Bitcoin price action was found to be in line with the Wyckoff Method, a technical pattern that indicates the right time to buy or sell the token. According to the Wyckoff method, there are basically four phases of the market cycle; Accumulation, premium, distribution and discount.
According to the chart shared by one of the popular analysts, Mustache, the BTC price has just completed the accumulation phase and it could soon hit the premium.
The markup phase is an indication of a new trend, where pullbacks to new support levels usually present fresh buying opportunities. Steeper pullbacks or corrections could also be possible and as such phases of premium and accumulation are expected to continue unless new highs are made. Later comes the distribution and discount leading to higher highs as a new up cycle begins.
Hence, the analyst believes that the price could start a nice bounce soon and mark highs around $40,000 soon.
“ Bitcoin and the Wyckoff Method.
Amazing how everything still goes according to plan.
()….$40,000 for a BTC next”
