Bitcoin's price behavior after halving events attracted a lot of interest from investors and analysts alike. Well-known crypto trader Captain Faibik made bold predictions about Bitcoin's trajectory, suggesting that the correction phase is over and an uptrend towards the coveted $100,000 mark is in sight.
Bitcoin aims for $100,000
According to Crypto Faibik analysis, the 1-week BTCUSDT chart illustrates the formation of a parabolic curve, which typically indicates an upward move in the event of a breakout. This bullish signal is further confirmed by the identification of important bases in the chart, particularly Base 3 and Base 4.
According to Faibik's analysis, Base 3 suggests the stock could double in a short period of time. Similarly, Base 4 shows similar signs, which may push Bitcoin price to near $100,000 sooner rather than later.
However, crypto analyst Faibik warns that the price of Bitcoin could see a decline after reaching $100,000. This could be due to investor profit-taking, which led to a price correction.
Historic achievement
Well-known crypto trader Crypto Tea also points to an upward rally for Bitcoin, drawing parallels to previous Bitcoin halving events that triggered significant price increases.
Looking back on history, the halving in 2012 marked the beginning of Bitcoin's meteoric rise, driving its price up an incredible 92x after the halving. Subsequent halving events in 2016 and 2020 brought notable increases of 30x and 8x, respectively.
looking ahead
Given past successes, Crypto Tea expects the Bitcoin price to rise further. However, the extent of this post-halving surge remains to be seen, adding an additional element of intrigue to the evolving market dynamics.
With Bitcoin currently trading at around $65,094.87, the expected rise towards $100,000 represents a significant price increase, potentially allowing new highs for the leading cryptocurrency.
