On the daily chart, Bitcoin (BTC) broke the local level at $41,557. If the buyers can hold the gained initiative until the end of the day, the rise could soon continue to the next resistance at $44,244. In another case, a return below $42,000 could be a prerequisite for a correction into the $41,000-$41,500 range.

Bitcoin is trading at $42,552 at press time.

ETH/USD

Ethereum (ETH) is no exception to the rule, up 2% over the last day.

Ethereum (ETH) is on the verge of breaking the broad channel resistance at $3,149. At the moment there is a high probability that medium-term growth will continue if buyers can keep the initiative they have gained. If so, the surge could take ETH price into the $3,300-$3,400 range by mid-May.

Ethereum is trading at $3,152 at press time.

XRP/USD

XRP is the slowest growing coin today, up just 0.66%.

XRP has bounced off the $0.7411 support level, confirming the power of buyers. From a technical point of view, the coin might have accumulated enough energy for a medium-term uptrend. If buyers can reach $0.77, the next level from which bears can come back in is $0.79223.

XRP is trading at $0.76205 at press time.
