Hold on to the end or sell a little to start a family? It was a no-brainer for a bitcoiner in north-west London.

Noodle (a nickname), a Briton who first heard about Bitcoin around 2012, took profits from his Bitcoin purchases to pay for his wife’s in vitro fertilization (IVF) treatment. He told Cointelegraph that he “doesn’t regret” his decision to start a family using fiat-denominated profits from buying, holding, and then selling Bitcoin.

The Silk Road was a popular site for buying and selling almost anything with Bitcoin.
