Canada Rare Earth Corp said the first shipment of rare earth concentrate from a new supplier is in transit to its customer base. The company noted that this is the initial shipment of a minimum of 60 shipments anticipated over the five-year period.  The contract, signed September 3, 2021, calls for a total quantity of 18,000 metric tons. However, the company and the supplier are working together to increase this quantity through larger and more frequent shipments.

Fortitude Gold (OTCQB:FTCO) Corp declared its monthly dividend of $0.04 per common share payable on April 29, 2022, to shareholders of record as of April 19, 2022. Fortitude Gold (OTCQB:FTCO) is a gold producer, developer, and explorer with operations in Nevada, U.S.A. offering investors exposure to both gold production and dividend yield. DGTL Holdings Inc has announced that its wholly-owned Hashoff LLC subsidiary has launched a new social media content marketing campaign with a Nasdaq listed e-sports and gaming company. The company said the campaign is valued at about US$200,000 and is focused on promoting brand awareness of the online sports betting regulations, which are now legal and live across the US state of Illinois. DGTL noted that the term of the contract requires Hashoff to source top ranked micro-influencers to build new brand awareness and to drive new active users to the client’s key online properties.

Nextleaf Solutions Ltd (CSE:OILS, OTCQB:OILFF) has announced that the US Patent and Trademark Office has granted the company its 18th issued US patent for a system in which spent cannabis biomass is heated in stages to reclaim residual cannabinoids while simultaneously generating carbon with the desired porosity level. When utilized, Nextleaf explained that the patented process allows it to maximize its cannabinoid molecule yield, reduce waste destined for landfills, and create a new business vertical at a minimal cost. “Given the US House of Representatives passing the MORE Act – a bill that would end the federal prohibition on cannabis – and the need for the US Government to address the opioid epidemic, we believe cannabis legalization will become a reality in the United States in the near term,” Nextleaf CEO Paul Pedersen said in a statement. “With a US patent stack protecting what we believe to be the most efficient methods of producing distilled THC and CBD in a regulated market, Nextleaf is well-positioned to benefit from US legalization,” he added.

NEO Battery Materials Ltd has announced that its NBMSiDE pouch-type full cells have been manufactured to evaluate product performance, viability, and durability in genuine battery charging conditions. In addition, the company said the “Kick-Off Meeting” for NBM Silicon Anode Plant project has been convened with the engineering design company to streamline terms and efforts for fast-track construction completion. NEO Battery Materials said it commissioned a third-party evaluation agency for a product performance and viability assessment of NBMSiDE through manufacturing and cycle-testing 500 milliampere/hour (mAh) pouch-type full cells. 

SPYR (OTCQB:SPYR) Inc has revealed details of its subsidiary Applied Magix’s ‘Secret Lab’, and the developments and directions being explored in 2022. The Secret Lab investigates and explores technologies and possible products – most of which might never be realized, but ultimately parts of the research will help with current products and services or may find itself woven into smart homes and connected cars. “The Secret Lab is very much like Apple’s Advanced Technology Group (ATG) from years ago. Not everything being explored there is necessarily destined for release as a product or would necessarily see the light of day, beyond exploration and technology demos,” said Applied Magix CEO Dr Harald Zink in a statement. “Nevertheless, much of the knowledge being gained will find its way into our products and services, while some of what we explore is based on annoyances we encounter that we believe we can design a better solution for.”

South Star Battery Metals Corp said it has entered into a binding streaming agreement with Sprott Resource Streaming and Royalty Corp (SRSR) for a total cash consideration of up to US$28 million as prepayment for graphite concentrates from the Santa Cruz Graphite project in Brazil. South Star will act as sales agent for SRSR on the percentage of production subject to the agreement. “We are delighted to have a long-term strategic partner like Sprott. This financing delivers excellent value for South Star shareholders by minimizing equity dilution while giving the Company a lot of financial flexibility to fund future expansions,” said South Star CEO Richard Pearce in a statement. “This agreement is the next cornerstone in building South Star into a world-class graphite producer and will provide full funding for South Star to move construction forward on the Santa Cruz Phase 1 operations and partial funding for Phase 2 CAPEX at a very attractive cost of capital compared to available commercial alternatives or additional equity dilution.,” he added.

Edison Lithium Corp has said it is progressing with drawing up an exploration plan for its lithium properties in Argentina, which are centrally located in the so-called “lithium triangle”, where more than 70% of the world’s lithium reserves lie beneath salt flats. The Canada-based mining explorer’s prospective lithium brine claims are principally located in the two geological basins known as the Antofalla Salar and the Pipanaco Salar in northern Catamarca Province. “Following the extensive period of formalizing Edison’s acquisition of the Argentine claims in the Antofalla Salar, we are moving forward to carefully craft an optimal exploration plan for our vast claims,” said Nathan Rotstein, CEO of Edison in a statement. 

Gevo Inc (NASDAQ:GEVO) said it has signed a memorandum of understanding with Farmers Edge Inc, a global leader in digital agriculture, to work together to deliver a one-of-a-kind carbon inset management program. The collaboration will focus on extracting value from carbon insets, which represent the actions taken by an organization to fight climate change within its own value chain, as opposed to offsets, which are typically paying for a project to capture atmospheric carbon dioxide somewhere else. The companies plan to launch a program with US growers to measure and track carbon intensity scores for corn and soy in the production of sustainable aviation fuel and other low-carbon hydrocarbon fuels.

Major Precious Metals Corp has provided an update on the Skaergaard project, noting that over 11,000 new core and channel samples have been collected at the project in Greenland. The company said that already about four million ounces of palladium and one million ounces of gold have been outlined as an indicated resource at the project and close to a further 10 million ounces of palladium and four million ounces of gold are outlined in the inferred resource category that have been independently assessed and modeled in a report at precious metal prices well below today’s values. The company noted that the new core and channel samples have been collected and delivered to the ALS Global Laboratory at Loughrea, Ireland, for analysis to support the conclusions in the report and to potentially expand the resources. Tony Williams, the company’s chief executive officer, said in a statement: “This analysis process is ongoing although reporting of results has been somewhat delayed largely due to COVID-related issues. We expect to report initial results soon and anticipate all assaying will be completed by mid-May, 2022.

Empower Clinics Inc has announced the launch of its coronavirus (COVID-19) testing solutions for cruise travel passengers in Vancouver, British Columbia. The launch follows the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for healthcare services, COVID-19 testing and logistics management with Ceres Terminals Canada, the operator of the cruise ship terminal at Canada Place, announced on February 10, 2022. “As a proud Vancouver company, we are honoured to play a part in the safe return of the cruise ship industry to our city,” Steven McAuley, chairman and CEO of Empower Clinics said in a statement. “We have worked closely with Ceres for over 18 months. Group Eleven Resources Ltd revealed that it has extended mineralization via reconnaissance drilling at the northwest (NW) extension at the Carrickittle prospect on its PG West project in Ireland and told investors that 2022’s annual drill budget is its largest to date. At Zone 1 at Carrickittle, the latest drill highlights included one hole, which extended the mineralization there by 30 metres (m) such that the zone is now 130m long. The hole hit a length of 9.33m starting from 78.93m depth, grading 0.48% zinc and lead and 8.1 grams per ton (g/t) silver. That included a narrow high-grade zone of 0.10m of 20% zinc and lead and 6.6 g/t silver. The same hole also threw up a separate copper-silver bearing zone, showing 2.77m of 0.10% copper, 20.4 g/t silver and 0.40% zinc and lead.

Predictmedix Inc has announced the conclusion of an initial deployment of a Safe Entry Station at a “major” Las Vegas entertainment event through its partnership with Uptown Sports Marketing. The rapid health screening solutions company said the event venue served as a unique opportunity to demonstrate its proprietary AI-enabled screening solution to area representatives from some of the largest Las Vegas and global entertainment and hospitality sector companies, which visited the Safe Entry Station throughout the week. “With over 32 million visitors and thousands of conferences or entertainment events a year, Las Vegas represents an incredible deployment opportunity for our technology,” Predictmedix interim CEO Rahul Kushwah said in a statement.

Blue Sky Uranium Corp has announced assays from the second tranche of results from the recently completed reverse circulation (RC) drilling program at the Ivana deposit, within its wholly-owned Amarillo Grande uranium-vanadium project in Argentina’s Rio Negro Province. The company said the assay results reported include 970 samples from 115 RC holes averaging 8.5 metres (m) depth that tested areas of lower drill hole density at the margins of, and within, the western portion of the Ivana deposit, as well as testing the potential expansion of the deposit to the west. “We are very pleased with these recent results that indicate great success in all aspects of the program,” the company’s president and CEO Nikolaos Cacos said in a statement. “New strong uranium and vanadium mineralization both within the deposit margins and in a large step-out hole confirm the potential to both expand and upgrade the Ivana deposit.”

Vox Royalty (TSX-V:VOX) Corp provided a development and exploration update on some of its royalty interests in Brazil and Australia, which included a 106% increase in the mineral resource at the Pedra Branca platinum group elements project in Brazil and a 113% increase in the gold resource estimate at the Bulgera gold project in Western Australia. The company also said the Binduli North mine expansion at the Janet Ivy gold project in Western Australia is expected to be a key source of revenue growth for Vox from late-2022 onwards.

Bridgeline Digital Inc (NASDAQ:BLIN) has reported that it closed 33 license sales totaling over $650,000 in ARR (annual recurring revenue) in the second quarter of fiscal year 2022.  The company said its cross-sale strategy remains strong, with 9 license sales to its existing customer base on top of 24 newly won customers. “Bridgeline won more customers in this quarter than any quarter in history. These robust bookings will add strong high-margin recurring revenue to our subscription revenue in future quarters,” said Ari Kahn, Bridgeline’s president and chief executive officer in a statement.  “Bridgeline’s new product launches and strong partnerships have contributed to this quarter’s sales and positioned the company for strong sales in future quarters,” he added.

ImagineAR Inc has announced a multi-year licensing agreement with Fanmaker to integrate its SDK platform into the Professional Bull Riders’ (PBR) mobile app PBRewards. In a statement, ImagineAR said PBR will utilize the technology to engage with both fans and partners.  Using the PBR Mobile app, fans can take pictures and videos with holograms of riders, appearing as if they are really standing next to these athletes, and instantly share the content on social media. PBR partners can also deliver immersive activations at PBR competitions, such as AR Treasure Hunts, for fans to win prizes.

Phunware Inc (NASDAQ:PHUN) has announced that its PhunToken (PHTK) is now available on the Uniswap decentralized crypocurrency exchange.  The company said ecosystem participants leveraging Uniswap will need to use the PhunToken Contract Address in order to import PHTK as a new custom token before initiating any swap, while PHTK will remain available for direct purchase on the PhunToken Buy Portal with US Dollars (USD), Bitcoin (BTC) or Ethereum (ETH). Phunware said it has also launched a new PhunToken website with a streamlined interface to support user-generated content curation, liquidity deposits and yield farming for earning additional rewards. “We are a real company building a blockchain-enabled ecosystem in the real world that has the potential to responsibly drive the mainstream adoption of crypto by reimagining how brands engage with consumers,” said Alan S. Tiziana Life Sciences PLC (NASDAQ:TLSA) said the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has given permission for the enrollment of additional Secondary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis (SPMS) patients for treatment with intranasal foralumab. The company said its collaborators at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH) Boston MA have received a ‘Study May Proceed Letter’ from the FDA to initiate treatment in up to an additional eight SPMS patients as part of an Intermediate-Size Patient Population Expanded Access Investigational New Drug (IND).  Safety, tolerability, and clinical responses from the first two SPMS patients were submitted to the regulator to seek permission to treat up to a further eight SPMS patients with the goal of obtaining more clinical data to assess robustness of the clinical responses.

CO2 GRO Inc (TSX-V:GROW, OTCQB:BLONF) has announced a technology trial for a CO2 Delivery Solutions system at an Ecuador-based rose greenhouse. The company said the owner wished it and the facility details to be unnamed. The trial will be conducted for up to one year, assessing CO2 Delivery Solutions’ economic benefits, including faster plant growth, greater rosebud production, improved plant health and suppression of micro-pathogens particularly powdery mildew, CO2 GRO said. 

SpotLite360 IOT Solutions (CSE:LITE) Inc told investors it has executed a master terms agreement to create a strategic relationship with American Cannabis Consulting (ACC), an arm’s length party to the company. The logistics technologies solutions provider noted that Denver, Colorado-based ACC is a nationally recognized business-to-business cannabis consulting solutions provider and licensed owner-operator with several significant brands and company relationships, including the recently-announced partnership with the Bubba Kush cannabis brand. “Our companies have a shared vision to assist our clients making data-driven decisions – across a sustainable agricultural supply chain,” SpotLite360 president and CEO James Greenwell said in a statement. 

CleanSpark Inc (NASDAQ:CLSK) has reported its unaudited bitcoin production and operations update for the calendar year-to-date ending March 31, 2022, which showed monthly production of 318 bitcoin (BTC), while March daily BTC production reached a high of 10.57. For the calendar year-to-date production ending March 31, 2022, CleanSpark said it produced 898 BTC and had total BTC holdings of 420 as of that date. The company noted that total BTC converted for operations and growth in March were 391, and it has a currently deployed fleet of over 23,000 latest-generation bitcoin miners with a total hashrate of 2.3 EH/s. CleanSpark said it fully funded growth and operations through the sale of 420 BTC in March 2022 at an average of approximately $42,294 per BTC. Sales of BTC equated to proceeds of approximately $17.6 million, most of which was used for growth capital expenditures at the company’s Norcross facility, it added.

GameSquare Esports Inc has announced a fully subscribed US$3 million non-brokered private placement backed by its largest shareholders as well as a strategic new investor. The Toronto-based gaming and esports company said the capital injection along with the recently announced entry into a letter of intent for a US$5 million credit facility illustrates the strong support that it has from its largest investors, Goff Capital and the Jones Family, owners of the Dallas Cowboys. Importantly, it said the private placement adds a new strategic investor, a New York-based fund with large, long-term esports investments, to support our growth goals and objective to complete merger and acquisition (M&A) transactions at significantly higher valuations.

Los Andes Copper Ltd (TSX-V:LA) said its previously announced US$4 million convertible debenture investment from resource-focused Queen’s Road Capital has closed. The proceeds from the investment will be used to complete the pre-feasibiltity study for the company’s Vizcachitas project in Chile and other corporate expenses. The convertible debenture has a five-year term, carries an 8% coupon and is convertible into Los Andes common shares at C$19.67. The interest is payable quarterly, 5% in cash and 3% in shares, at the 20-day volume-weighted average price prior to the interest payment date. “We are pleased to close this financing promptly and to move forward with our pre-feasibility study,” said R. Michael Jones, CEO of Los Andes in a statement.

The Valens Company (TSX:VLNS, OTCQX:VLNCF) Inc has announced the closing of its previously announced bought deal public offering of units for total gross proceeds of approximately C$32.3 million.  The company said it sold 12,205,186 units at a price of C$2.65 each, including 1,591,979 units sold under the exercise of the underwriters’ over-allotment option. Each unit in the offering is comprised of one common share in the capital of the company and one-half of a common share purchase warrant. Each whole warrant will be exercisable to acquire one additional common share for a period of 48 months following the closing date of the offering at an exercise price of C$3.20 per warrant share, subject to adjustment in certain events. The company said it intends to use the net proceeds from the offering to continue to pursue strategic growth initiatives in North America, to provide funding for working capital, and for general corporate purposes.

Platinex Inc said it has closed a non-brokered private placement for gross proceeds of $1,536,300. The company issued 16,060,000 units at a price of C$0.05 per unit. In addition, the company issued 12,221,667 flow-through units (FT unit) at a price of C$0.06 per unit. Each unit and FT unit consists of one common share and one-half of a common share purchase warrant. Each full warrant is exercisable into a common share at an exercise price of $0.07 for a period of 36 months from the closing of the offering. The company said it will use the proceeds of the offering to incur Canadian Exploration Expenses on its exploration properties in Ontario including W2 Copper-Nickel-PGE Project in the Ring of Fire and the Shining Tree Gold Project in the Abitibi and for general corporate purposes.

Whitehorse Gold Corp said it has entered into a loan agreement with a private Guinean gold mining company which owns certain mining concessions and licenses located in Guinea, in exchange for a four-month exclusive right to negotiate an option acquisition agreement to acquire a 100% interest in the Guinean gold mining company, Under the loan agreement, the company has advanced a US$250,000 loan to the borrower, mainly for the payment of government tax on the title of the properties. As security for the loan, the borrower has pledged its shares in the wholly-owned subsidiary which holds the title of the properties. The loan has a term of two years and an interest rate of 5%.
