NZX 50 slips, Wall Street indexes rise as Elon Musk buys Twitter

The crypto space is rising

The global crypto market cap has seen an increase of 5.19% over the past 24 hours, standing at $1.87 trillion at the time of writing. Additionally, the total crypto market volume saw a 24.46% increase from the previous day.

With the exception of Tether, which is tied to the dollar, all major cryptos like Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, XRP, etc. traded higher than at the close of the last day. Dogecoin is up 29.30% while Shiba Inu is up 7.31%.
